Solution 1: Keep your Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 software up to date. For LTE or 3G watches, turn off Mobile networks. Take note that with Bluetooth off your watch will disconnect from your phone. 2 months old galaxy watch activ 2 lte 44mm overheats and shuts down every time on mak8ng or recieveing a call on standalone(lte) mode. Already i have seen there are many posts regarding this but no resolution has been given till date. Also shame on samsung that they have not officially acknowle I get Watch Classic 6 47 mm LTE and as soon as I turn on LTE service my watch is going to cooling mode. I spoke with customer service and they offer exchange. So I agree and 5 days later I get another new "working" Samsung Watch 6 Classic LTE. Well after setup and turn on LTE service i have exactly same issue. I litteraly just took the watch out of the box, turned it on with a 10% charge and it got super hot. Tried to charge it-wouldn't stay charging.. and then it popped up with an overheating logo. I could barely touch it. I've had it 10 whole minutes It isn't the lte version, just plain Bluetooth. I I had the lte version of the active 2. No issues for me before, but now that I'm researching I'm seeing others reporting overheating on older versions too. I did update the firmware yday and switched back to a stock watchface instead of facer. I have both a watch 5 40mm lte & 5 pro LTE on T-mobile's data with Paired Digits cellular plan. If I leave my phone at home & make/take a phone call on LTE I'll get a warning the watch is too hot. I had this warning tonight. Went for a 5km run, was using Spotify to stream a playlist over LTE and also had Samsung health tracking the run. Just as I tapped on my watch to finish my run I got the triangle saying my watch is overheating and it restarted. Also it was 2 degrees celsius outside. It didn't feel hot too touch. I hope this is a bug.
