Itdoes say it overwrites auto saves so i dont know. EDIT: JUST TRIED THIS. What you do is make a new hard save. Like no quicksave, no auto save, a full on manual save. Then restart it. NOTE: itll wipe autosaves, but keeps your manual save. Then you are good. It says Manual Save 1 (my kassandra) and Manual save 2 (my alexios).

Inmy case it was for AC3. So again Turn off cloud sync and also make sure you turn proxy off. They are in your settings in the Uplay launcher. RelatedTopics. If your game seems to autosave just fine while playing (the icon appears), maybe Uplay is constantly restoring your save. First, MANUALLY backup your savegames (C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames). These are ALL your Ubisoft savegames by the way, and I strongly suggest doing this anyway.
Goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher. Backup the entire savegames folder which will backup the saves not just for ACII but any other Uplay games you may have (this is the folder that Uplay uses for ALL Uplay enabled games). After installing Uplay on the new computer transfer the folder back to the same location.
From AmZD 36 hours here until I finished the game and I swear, I skipped a lot of side missions. I did the Villa 100%, bought everything, did the Truth, every viewpoint, what else? A few assassinations, most of the races, none of the beating up missions, I think 1 courier mission, 30 feathers, most of the treasure chest, all 10 tombs (6+3+1).
