Peugeot 308 GTi 270 has a gearbox oil change every alternate service - first one at 10k first service. I presume because it has a Torsen LSD it needs more regular oil changes. Peugeot also change brake fluid every 2 years so it's either gearbox oil or brake fluid on top of engine oil, filter and spark plugs every service.

I couldn’t find 3,000 miles mentioned anywhere in the manual for first oil change, although it mentions under “severe usage conditions” to change it every 3,000. It’s every 6,000 miles. Put 3.5qt and check the level. Start up for short duration and check again. Add till full) - Make sure to put the oil cap back on.
