👯 Skoda Remote Key Not Working

Two things malfunctioned with my Skoda Octavia windows. One window won't operate with the 'one-touch' switch, only by holding the switch. The 'convenience' window operation from the key fob stopped working. I tried the following. Using the other key fob. Replacing the key fob battery. Resetting the window options to 'factory settings' and set Mazda 3 2006 remote key fob stopped working after battery died and there was just clicking sound when I was trying to start the engine. Battery is now replaced and charged and everything works apart f … Symptoms are as follows: 1) It won't open with either the remote release button on the driver's door. 2) It won't open with the remote fob. 3) I can open it with the key. 4) When the car is unlocked and I try to open the boot with the handle then absolutely nothing happens. The battery in the key is almost empty. . After pressing a button on the key, the warning light does not flash. Or: 26 Keys, locks and alarm system › Central locking › Insert a thin screwdriver into the recess . A. and remove the battery. › Press any button on the remote key to reset the key. › Insert the new battery. › Looks like I just need a new switch then. With the car locked the boot switch will unlock the boot only. Car no longer locking/unlocking via key fob. Car opened as normal this morning. Next time went to open the car it was unlocked and the remote locking didn't lock/unlock. Tried the spare key, same result. The button on the dash still locks/unlocks so the fuse is fine (checked it just in case to Try pressing the unlock button twice in quick succession, lots of vw's seat's etc are setup for selective unlocking. one press drivers only. two presses all doors.
